Shelters Available for Monroe County Residents

Monroe County and the American Red Cross are working together to provide shelter for anyone who wants to leave their homes to ride out Sandy.

The American Red Cross has 3 shelters set up for residents.

The Dome Arena at 2695 E. Henrietta Road, Henrietta (pets are allowed)
Brighton Presbyterian Church, 1775 East Avenue, Rochester
Sweden Senior Center, 133 State Street, Brockport

Monroe County is also planning to open additional shelters in Webster.

Webster Recreation Center,1350 Chiyoda Dr., Webster
Greece Olymbia H.S., 1139 Maiden Lane, Webster
