Great 8 - 9/23/08

Two of the best catches you will ever see in Section Five were made in back to back weeks. Eddie Jackson was in this spot last week. This week, well, you'll just have to watch the Great 8.

Number 8, another great catch to lead us off. Chad Dillard from Gates-Chili making the highlight reel this time…more from the Spartans later.

Number 7, Kyle Reilly hit this 40 yard field goal with four seconds left to give Arcadia a clutch win in a good one against Brighton.

Number 6, John Marozzi. Cal-Mum. 152 yards and three scores as the Red Raiders narrowly defeated an excellent Avon team.

Number 5, Ed Marchand rushed for 173 yards, a touchdown and the game winning two point conversion in the third overtime to give Finney a victory.

Number 4, Brittany Kinmond, Spencerport. A four goal game and a three goal game... eight goals total in a 3-0 week for the Rangers.

Number 3, Dylan Brown, Brockport. 205 yards rushing and four scores in a Blue Devils win.

Number 2, Ricky Stevens ran wild for 272 yards and four touchdowns as Gates-Chili stayed unbeaten.

Number 1, Joe Griffin broke a Victor school record with five goals in one game, added two more later in the week in a pair of victories for the Blue Devils.
