The family of the one Brighton teen still hospitalized from a serious bus crash released a statement on the teen's condition.

Brighton High School junior Scott Collins was inside the car with three friends when it crashed into a school bus on Warren Avenue earlier this month. All of the teens were taken to the hospital, and all have since been released except Collins. His family says he is now breathing on his own and will be undergoing "acute intensive therapy at a specialized facility."

Brighton Police have since charged John Zakhary, 16, with reckless driving and speeding.
