Forecasters expect Hurricane Sandy will join forces with a winter storm making its way across the U.S. It is predicted to hit New Jersey Tuesday morning, but its effects could be felt starting Sunday through next Friday. The storm is already responsible for more than 20 death. Governor Andrew Cuomo has ordered the state departments of emergency services and homeland security to prepare for storm damage.
Once Sandy makes landfall, the storm could cause power outages, heavy rain and inland flooding.
