It wasn't pretty, but the Bath Rams will take it. Mitch Buckley's 1-yard touchdown run in the second quarter was the only points as the 6th-seeded Rams knocked off 3-seed Elba/B-B 6-0 in the Class C quarterfinals.
Buckley finished the afternoon with 76 yards rushing to go with his touchdown. Teammate Bruce Rinker also nabbed two interceptions in the fourth quarter.
Elba/B-B had a chance to come back in the game, trailing 6-0 with under two minutes to play, but a fumbled snap was recovered by Mitch Buckley to seal the game for the Rams. For Bath, it is their first trip to the sectional semifinals since 2008.
(6) Bath (5-3) will take on (2) LeRoy (7-1) at 1:30 on Saturday, October 27th at Sahlen's Stadium in Rochester.
