Derek Richards ran for 141 yards and a touchdown as (2)Hilton slipped past (7)Fairport 14-7 in a Class AA sectional quarterfinal Saturday night in Hilton.
D.J. Logory scored the game winning TD on a quarterback sneak early in the fourth quarter. Nick Ross had an interception and a sack to lead the Cadets defense.
Marquis Young had Fairport's points on the first play from scrimmage-a 69 yard touchdown run.
Hilton moves on to play (3)Pittsford in the semifinals next Sunday at Sahlen's Stadium. Kickoff is scheduled for 7:30pm.
