Jake Miller rushed for 94 yards and two touchdowns while Chris Folu-Montes added 112 yards and another score as (2)ER/Gananda handled (7)Batavia 35-20 in a Class B sectional quarterfinal in East Rochester Friday night.
Folu-Montes and Zach Houser each scored short TD's early in the third quarter to break open a game that was 7-7 at the half. From there, the schools exchanged TD's but Batavia never really threatened to tie.
Justin Washington made a spectacular catch on a 14-yard TD pass from Brett Scheuerlein late in the first half for Batavia's first score.
The Bombers move on to play (3)Newark in the semifinals next Sunday. Kickoff is tentatively scheduled for 2:30pm.
