Aquinas hung tough with one of the top high school teams in the region, but Damion Terry passed for two scores and ran for another as Erie Prep beat the Lil' Irish 34-9 on Dewey Avenue Friday night.
Erie Cathedral Prep is the top ranked team in Pennsylvania, but a Billy Lombardi touchdown run gave Aquinas a 9-7 lead. However, Erie scored all 27 second half points to make the game a rout.
