Man Charged For Sexually Abusing Several Minors

A man is facing multiple charges of sex abuse for allegedly abusing several children over a six-year period.

John Knowlton was arraigned on a 16-count indictment in Monroe County Court Thursday. His charges include rape, predatory sexual assault and criminal sex act. Court documents say he had repeated, inappropriate sexual contact with three children between June 2006 and last month. The paperwork says the youngest victim was under the age of 13.
