A husband and wife from the Rochester area have pleaded guilty to selling counterfeit merchandise.

The U.S. Attorney's office says Fan Zhang, 40, and Deno Delregno have pleaded guilty to conspiracy to traffic in counterfeit goods.

Prosecutors say that in May of 2010 both Zhang and Delregno agreed with other individuals to sell counterfeit designer purses, handbags, and wallets in and around Rochester.

Prosecutors say both Zhang and Delregno traveled from Rochester to New York City to buy purses, handbags, wallets, and other items.

Designer items included Coach, Gucci, and Burberry and Dolce and Gabbana.

Zhang and Delregno have agreed to forfeit money and automobiles as part of the plea agreement.
