Updated: October 6, 2012
Area families learned how police battle crime during the annual public safety expo. Local families got an up close look at the Rocehster's SWAT vehicle, police equipment and more.

Rochester, Greece and 15 other public safety agencies were present for the Expo at Greece Ridge Mall. The goal was to let kids and adults have a chance to speak with police before an emergency.

Local police say Saturday's event was all about showing the community what they do on a daily basis to keep people safe.
