Fire investigators have determined that the fire that claimed the life of a mother of seven was not accidental.

Chandra Majors, 38, died in a fire at her Pierpont Street home on September 16th. She lived with four of her younger children, but they were not there at the time of the fire. Neighbors say just hours before the fire, on Saturday evening, a fight broke out between Majors and her boyfriend. The case is now in the hands of the Rochester Police Major Crimes Unit. Police have not named any suspects.
