Car Crash in Chili

Monroe County Sheriff deputies have ticketed a man after he crashed his car in Chili early Thursday morning.

It happened around 1:20 a.m. in the area of Chestnut Ridge and Gateway Road. Deputies say Brian Briggs, 23, was driving on Gateway Road when his car left the road and struck two mailboxes and a boulder. The car flipped and landed on its roof. Deputies say Riggs left the scene. He was later found at a relative's house in Henrietta.

Riggs was ticked for leaving the scene of an accident and other traffic violations.
