Boyfriend of Murdered SUNY Brockport Student Indicted

An indictment has been filed against the man accused of killing SUNY Brockport student Alexandra Kogut.

Monroe County District Attorney Sandra Doorley filed the indictment late Wednesday afternoon against Clayton Whittemore. He is the boyfriend of Kogut, whom police say he killed over the weekend. Kogut was found dead in her dorm room in the early morning hours of September 29th. Investigators say Whittemore later admitted to the crime.

Whittemore will appear in Sweden Town Court on Thursday.
