Richards Criticizing County Administration For Sibley Stalemate

The city says the county and its Industrial Development Agency (COMIDA) are holding up approvals on certain tax breaks. The city says it has a developer interested in buying the property, but it claims the county is playing politics because it wants Monroe Community College to move out of the Sibley building into Kodak office space.
Brooks says in her conversation with the developers interested in the building, they say the redevelopment will happen regardless of MCC's future.
