More Information on Whittemore's Past

This is not the first time 21-year-old Clayton Whittemore has been in trouble with the law.
He was arrested in January of 2011 for disorderly intoxication. The arrest happened in Brevard County, Florida where Whittemore played for the minor league Space Coast Hurricanes at the time.
Coaches from the hockey league say Whittemore played during the 2010-2011 season.
Before his time in Florida, he played for his hometown high school hockey team, the New Hartford Spartans. He was named Division II State Player of the Year in 2010.
Neighbors who live near Whittemore's hometown say they are shocked by the news.
"Its really awful. You'd like to think that students could be safe on a SUNY campus and in the residences, that's awful that this happened," said Melissa Bonser.
