New Director at George Eastman House

There is new leadership at the George Eastman House in Rochester, and he has local ties.

Doctor Barnes was the former CEO of Element-K, a local online learning company. Barnes is happy to be part of Eastman.

"We have a world class collection of photography. We have one of the world's leading archives in film. Film has been a passion of mine since I was a child. So it's historic house which has been remarkably returned to its original state," he says.

Barnes will assume his new role next month. He's taking over for Tony Bannon who was the head of the George Eastman House for 16 years.
