Nazareth College Named One Of Most "Military-Friendly" Schools

Nazareth College is being honored for being a military-friendly school.

The college is in the top 15 percent of GI Jobs magazine's rankings. Nazareth was the first college in New York to help veterans make up the financial gap between what the GI bill paid for and the cost of tuition. Nazareth President Daan Bravemen recently told News 8 the college is obligated to help veterans.

"We've got people who have served the country and now they want to get back, they want to get jobs," Bravemen said. "And we can provide the skills, the knowledge, the opportunity to get those jobs."
