Victor 42, Canandaigua 35

Tommy Wagner ran for an eye-popping 301 yards and scored all six of Victor's touchdowns as the Blue Devils held off a very tough Canandaigua squad 42-35 at Victor Friday night.
Austin Coyne led the Braves with 113 yards passing and three scores.
Canandaigua led 14-7 late in the first half, but Victor scored three consecutive TDs sandwiched around halftime to take a 28-14 lead.
The rest of the second half, the teams traded touchdowns as the Blue Devil lead pinballed between 7 and 14 points. The Braves closed the scoring when Coyne hit Kirk Thomas for a 60 yard touchdown with a minute to go, but Victor recovered the onside kick to put the game away.
Victor is now 3-0 while Canandaigua falls to 2-1.
