Farm Accident In Orleans County

A man from Medina was seriously injured in a farming accident on Thursday afternoon.
Deputies say the incident happened around 2:15 in the Town of Ridgeway. David Jones, 65, was riding on the rear of a tractor that was pulling farm equipment.
The tractor was being driven by Jones' son Kevin, 27. The 65-year-old Jones fell from the back of the tractor and got caught in the farming equipment that's used to chop up crop remains.
Jones was flown to Mercy Flight to the Erie County Medical Center in Buffalo.
