However, Tre Johnson may have turned in the play of the season in a losing effort for Kearney. After Haut's second TD made it 22-0 Raiders, the Kings took over on their own 30. Johnson took a pitch going right, but stopped a few yards from the sideline because Cal-Mum left no lane for him to take it upfield.
No problem.
Johnson reversed field and picked up a convoy of blockers to go 70 yards for a touchdown. JoJo Gause and Chris Archie where among those who were supposed to lead the play left and ended making downfield blocks to spring the final 30 yards of the play. Even quarterback Andrew Locey escorted Johnson down the sideline.
Cal-Mum is 2-0 while Kearney falls to 0-2.
