By: Thad Brown
Updated: August 26, 2012
The Bills have cut nine players Sunday in advance of the NFL's first roster trimming deadline.

Among the cuts are linebacker Danny Batten and wideout David Clowney. Batten was a 6th round pick by the Bills in 2010. Clowney was originally drafted by the Packers in round 5 of the 2007 draft and played three seasons with the Jets before coming to Buffalo.

Buffalo's roster is now down to 75 players. They must cut 22 more before the season begins. Thursday night's preseason finale in Detroit will go a long way toward determining the Bills' opening day roster.

Here is the full list of Bills cuts:

LB Danny Batten
WR David Clowney
DE Sean Ferguson
CB Prince Miller
TE Fendi Onobun
DT Jay Ross
WR Derek Session
DB Nick Sukay
OG Jake Vermiglio
