Updated: August 18, 2012
Two adults and four children were displaced after their home caught fire Saturday morning.

Rochester Fire Department says the fire happened just before 3 a.m. The first floor was completely engulfed in flames and eventually spread to the second floor.

Crews worked for almost an hour to put the fire out. Firefighters had to remove a fence to get access to the house.

All six were outside of the home when firefighters arrived.

Rochester Fire Department says the house is no longer liveable and will torn down.

The Red Cross is assisting the family.
