Six people escaped a house fire on Breck Street late Sunday night.
It happened just after 11 o'clock.  Rochester fire fighters say the fire started on the second floor of a duplex.

There was heavy fire damage to the second floor and attic.  Everyone managed to get out safely.

Fire crews are still investigating how the fire started.  The red cross is providing housing and food for five adults and one child this morning.
