Students at Livonia Elementary Will Use Temporary Building

By: WROC-TV
Updated: August 10, 2012
There will be some changes at Livonia Elementary School after a fire this last month. The district says 4th and 5th graders will be spending the first few months of the school year at the nearby Connell Building.

School is still set to begin on time. Information on the move will be sent to parents as soon as possible.

Crews were working on the roof last month when a generator exploded over the 4th and 5th grade wing. Several classrooms had water and smoke damage.

The district hopes to get students back in the school by Veteran's Day.
