CDS Monarch is one of four organizations competing in the whole nation. Home Depot has entered the organization into a facebook contest. All you have to do is log on and vote.

Home depot is no stranger to The Nucor House in Penfield. The company donated around $40,000 in the past. Now, there is $25,000 up for grabs and CDS Monarch is going for it.

"Now they have this competition called Aprons in Action in partnership with facebook. We were fortunate enough to be listed as one of the beneficiaries, but we have to win," said Sankar Sewnauth, CEO and President of CDS Monarch.

You can vote for CDS Monarch on facebook, once a day, until August 31. If they win, the money will benefit veterans, like Sgt. Shawn McIntyre, in the Warrior Salute Program. McIntyre says he relys on The Nucor House; a transitional home that helps vets who come back from war.

"I can talk to someone that can relate to my problems, we do this and that, this thing worked for me, that worked for you and we try new ways to cope," said McIntyre.

So where would the thousands of dollars go?

"Right now, we have done the most that is needed for the house, but there is still some things that are remaining on the outside that we need to do," said Sewnauth.

"Me and my fellow veterans helped put in a lot of man hours trying to renovate that house, so we want to leave a lasting legacy, anything we can do to help, we want to...thank you for your votes, vote everyday and please help us win. Put Rochester on the map." said McIntyre.

If CDS Monarch wins the competition this month, they can compete for the grand prize of $250,000.
