Updated: July 29, 2012
Rene Rivera hit a two run homer in the 5th to break a 2-2 tie and give the Wings the lead for good as Rochester beat Columbus 8-5 Sunday night in Ohio.

Wilkin Ramirez and Matt Carson each led off the next two innings with solo homers as the Wings built an 8-2 lead. The Clippers scored three runs late, but never threatened.

Ramirez, Carson and Evan Bigley each had three hits. Six different Wings drove in a run.

Same two teams play two more in Columbus Monday and Tuesday.
