Talk it Up: CDS Monarch

Sankar Sewnauth, President and CEO, CDS Monarch joined Katrina Irwin on News 8 at Sunrise Wednesday. He talked about CDS Monarch and the group's 35th anniversary.
CDS Monarch supports people with developmental disabilities in pursuit of their personal dreams.
CDS Monarch provides residential, day habilitation, family support, service coordination, vocational, recreation services to over 1700 people in the Rochester community. Unistel, a subsidiary of CDS Monarch, is the Vocational Training Division. It subcontracts with businesses and the military to provide consolidation, manufacturing/industrial work for over 300 people with disabilities, including Veterans with PTSD/TBI.
CDS Monarch Senior Living is a place for people of similar ages 55+, both disabled and non-disabled, to fulfill their dream of affordable independent housing which allows them to age in place with their peers. The Warrior Salute Program assists veterans and their families. Particularly those with PTSD.
