Police: Rochester Man Hits Pedestrian, Nearly Hits Police Officer

Canandaigua Police say a Rochester man was driving drunk, which caused him to hit a pedestrian and almost hit a police officer.

Jordan Randolph, 26, is charged with DWI, harassment and resisting arrest. Police say Randolph was drunk behind the wheel when he hit a pedestrian on Fort Hill Avenue on Sunday. He nearly hit a police officer responding to a separate call. When police attempted to arrest Randolph, he tried to get away and injured an officer in the process.

Randolph remains in the Ontario County Jail on $1,000 bond.
