It was never even considered that the Knicks would let Linsanity walk away after just half a season.

Until Saturday.

The Knicks traded for Raymond Felton and added a second point guard to their roster in a matter of days (joining Jason Kidd). Combine that with the knowledge that Lin's offer sheet with Houston calls for him to make 15 million dollars in the third year of the deal--a number that would put the Knicks severely over the luxury tax threshold--and it certainly seems like Lin won't be a Knick for long.

Thad Brown and Prescott Rossi discuss why it might be good for the Knicks and why they could have a riot on their hands if they decide against another season of Linsanity.
