Fatal Crash in Lima

A three-car crash in Livingston County has left one person dead.

It happened sometime around 2 p.m. on West Main Street in the town of Lima. Deputies say Michael Cole, 43, was traveling east in a utility van when he was struck from behind. The crash sent Cole's van into the path of oncoming traffic, and he was hit head-on by a tanker truck. Cole was pronounced dead at the scene. The driver of the other two vehicles were taken to Strong Hospital with non-life threatening injuries.

The crash still remains under investigation.
