It happened at about 8 p.m. on West Main Street in Rochester. Police say a fire truck from the Rochester Fire Department was making a turn onto Brown Street. Because of the truck's size, a wide turn was required that blocked both lanes of traffic.
Police say they believe the fire truck did not have its emergency lights on at the time. The motorcyclist struck the back of the truck as it made the turn. The motorcyclist was taken to Rochester General Hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
The crash is still under investigation. No word yet on whether any tickets will be issued.
