Sabres Make LARGE Splash In Free Agency

By: Thad Brown
Updated: July 1, 2012
The Sabres made their first signing in free agency a player that can't be overlooked.

Literally... fans may have trouble looking over him.

John Scott is coming to Buffalo after splitting time in Chicago and with the Rangers last year. Scott is a 6-8, 240 pound forward who has played four seasons in the NHL.

In his career, Scott has 253 penalty minutes and one goal. He's played in 146 games and will undoubtedly be an enforcer for the seemingly toughness-deficient Sabres.
