Canandaigua Police continue to investigate a body found near Canandaigua Lake this weekend.

They have idenfied the body as that of Lewis McCall, 66, of Canandaigua. Police say a fisherman found McCall's body in shallow water Sunday morning just before 8 a.m. McCall was found on South Main Street behind the old Wegman's Plaza in a canal that runs into the lake. Officers believe an argument between two men and a woman turned physical and led up to the death. Police are asking anyone who may have seen a man in a blue hooded sweatshirt or a woman in blue short at any point on Saturday to come forward.

Police are spending the day collecting surveillance video from area stores. Anyone with information is asked to call Canandaigua Police at (585) 394-3311.
