Woman Hit By Trailer in Geneva

A woman was hit by a tractor trailer as it was making a turn in Geneva Thursday night.

It happened just before 5:45 p.m. at the corner of South Cloverleaf Drive and Route 5 & 20. Police say Julie Hembeck, 22, was struck by a Land Air Express tractor trailer as it was turning from South Cloverleaf onto Route 5 & 20. Police say Hembeck was crossing in a location where there was not a crosswalk. She was taken to Strong Hospital. Her injuries are described as non life-threatening.
