Updated: June 15, 2012
The day is finally here! It's a gorgeous day - perfect for Daredevil Nik Wallenda to attempt his walk across Niagara Falls on an 1,800 two inch wide wire rope.

Wallenda will be 220 feet above the bottom of the falls below when he attempts the walk, set to start at 10:10 p.m.

Reporter Deanna King was able to speak with Wallenda himself this morning, she asked if he was nervous, he responded "not at all."

We have team coverage of all the days festivities and of the walk tonight.

Be sure to follow both Deanna and News 8's John Kucko on Twitter: @Deanna_King and @john_kucko for up to the minute Tweets from the scene.
