Audience member Arminia inquires about linen-wrapped wood furniture and asks Nate if doing that is a project that she could undertake.
Nate notes that furniture company Restoration Hardware is selling textile wrapped items, but the difference between their product and one that Arminia might attempt is the complicated manufactured leather edging that Restoration Hardware adds to their finished textile covered pieces.
Nate offers an easier alternative and suggests that Arminia wrap her furniture piece in wallpaper. Nate informs Arminia that fabric-backed wallpaper would offer a nice alternative to a textile covering. Using a heavy-duty wallpaper paste, the wallpaper would be much easier than textile to apply. Nate warns of moving parts in the furniture that might produce wear and tear from the rubbing. A second suggestion from Nate is to use a stencil to cover the piece.
