The final score could have been a first quarter score in the NBA, but that didn't matter to East Rochester.

The Bombers led most of the second half and slipped by York 36-33 in a Class C sub-regional Monday night at Roberts Wesleyan.

Nick Nadeau led all scorers with 12 points. Miles Boyer added nine points and senior guard Darnell Rhodes chipped in eight for ER.

Dallas Comstock led York with 10 points and eight rebounds, while Matt Graves added nine points on three 3-pointers.

ER's next game is the Class C state qualifier Wednesday against Cuba-Rushford. There are three C classes in Section Five, but only one team can go to the state playoffs. Monday's game was the first leg of the three-way playoff.
