Penfield Stays Perfect

Penfield scored 23 consecutive first half points and then cruised to a 49-34 win in the Class AA State Qualifier against Athena Monday night at Roberts Wesleyan.

Margot Hetzke led all scorers with 19 points. Christina Leonardo was tops for the Trojans with 11.

Penfield next plays in the state quarterfinals Saturday at 2:15pm at Finger Lakes CC.
