York Wins First Sectional Title Since 1939

Tyler Shutts scored 19 points and Nick Curry added 13 as (1)York won it's first boys basketball sectional title since 1939 with a 60-50 win over (3)Honeoye in the Class C3 Final at Blue Cross Arena Friday night.

York led 18-14 after the first quarter and never lost the lead, but Honeoye never went away, either. Ben Cratsley led all scorers with 36 for Honeoye.

Shutts also had 11 rebounds for York.
