watch video
Audience member Carolyn tells Nate that she finally has a spare room that she uses as a dressing room and closet. Carolyn wants to know how to make the room functional and not look like a dressing room or closet. Carolyn notes to Nate that she likes the idea of having a dresser in the center of the room.
Nate suggests that Carolyn have shelving and storage built along/around the perimeter of the room, with drapery tracks in front of the shelving, so that Carolyn could open and close her desired wall sections with ease. Nate notes that in a previous project, he once shopped on-line to find drapery panels, and went to the container store and Lowes for the storage units. Nate also suggests a daybed or vanity desk/mirror for the middle of the room. In the end, Carolyn will have a beautiful "tented" room that is transformed into a nice space, beyond a closet or dressing room.
