After starting quarterback Mike Wagner went down with an injury in the first quarter, Victor had to call on Sam Byasee--a freshman who was on JV just a few weeks ago.
Byasee responded by scoring the first touchdown of the game and leading the Blue Devils to a 16-0 win over Arcadia in a battle of unbeatens in Victor Friday night.
Victor added a safety and a short TD run in the fourth quarter. Arcadia falls to 4-1. Victor is 5-0.
