On consecutive Friday nights, the Rhinos hosted playoff games that were watched by a combined 7,000 fans.

By comparison, the Flash drew over 10,000 to their championship game a day after the Rhinos second playoff match. In addition, the Red Wings played in front of over 9,000 at Frontier Field on THE SAME NIGHT as the first Rhino playoff match.

Is the Flash popularity pulling soccer fans away from the Rhinos and can both teams survive together? Thad Brown and Cory Hepola discuss in this week's Video Blog.

I believe the attendance drop by the Rhinos is due to main reasons: First, the Rhinos play the most boring soccer on the planet. You are supposed to be the attacker when playing at home. The Rhinos play not too loose instead of patying to win.
Second: dropping to the third division was a big mistake. With the team they have they should have been the scourge of the league, instead they could not keep up with such inferior teams. Some of the teams im this league were simply awdful.
I never missed more than one game a season, this year I went to only twom games and I had season tickets. Never again. This league is at par with the rochester premier league. At least the teams in that league are fun to watch and the players ( only amateurs) come to play day in and day out.
Maybe management will wake and rejoin the NASL league and change their approach on how soccer is played. Yhey took the beautiful game and turned it into the ugly game. Bowling is more exiting to watch.
