Wings Head To Break With Win

Delmon Young hit a two-run homer in the first inning and Steve Singleton added a solo shot in the second as the Red Wings beat Scranton/W-B 3-1 in Pennsylvania Sunday afternoon.

Four Wings pitchers held the Yankees to just one run. Cole DeVries got the win, pitching over two innings of middle relief. Jim Hoey allowed only an unearned run in the ninth for the save.

Rochester is now off until Thursday for the All-Star break. The Wings come back with two road games in Buffalo and then return to Frontier Field on Saturday night.
