The Broadway musical opened Tuesday night after a number of delays. The production saw cast injuries and the director was eventually booted. The reviews - not fantastic. Some critics are calling it dull. U2's Bono and The Edge worked on the music for the show.
#4 - Joss Stone
Two men are behind bars after allegedly plotting to murder the singer. Authorities caught the men outside of Stone's home armed with swords, rope and a body bag. No word if Stone was even home at the time. Neighbors tipped off police. They say money may have been a motive.
#3 - Natalie Portman
First comes Oscar, then comes baby. People Magazine is reporting that actress Natalie Portman has given birth to a boy. This is the first child for Portman and her fiance Benjamin Millepied. The couple met on the set of the movie "The Black Swan".
#2 - McDonald's Hoax
The fast food chain is now responding to an internet hoax. A photo of an authentic looking company letter appeared on Twitter claiming that due to recent robberies, African American customers would be charged an additional fee for transactions. As you can imagine, that outraged a lot of people. Technology experts say it's easy for a hoax like this to spread quickly. Tech expert Katie Linendoll says, "Social media sites like Facebook and Twitter are great resources for sending and sharing information quickly and rapidly, but at the same time on the flip side they can also send misinformation and spread it like wildfire." McDonald's called the hoax senseless and ignorant.
#1 - Gene Simmons
"The Joy Behar Show" on Headline News got a bit dicey when Gene Simmons and his longtime partner Shannon Tweed made an appearance. Simmons is known as a ladies man. Tweed apparently got mad at Simmons, took off her microphone and walked off the set. But was it real tension or not? You can decide. The couple is promoting their reality show.
