The longest lunar eclipse in more than a decade will happen Wednesday. Best spots to watch: Europe, Asia, Middle East, Africa and Australia. It won't be visible in North America. The eclipse is expected to last 6 and a half hours.
#4 - Mavericks Win!
The Dallas Mavericks took home the NBA championship Sunday night, beating the star-studded Miami Heat. The Mavs beat the Heat 105 to 95 in Game 6 in Miami. Mavs fans took to the streets of Dallas following the victory, cheering on their home team. The NBA Championship title is a first for Dallas.
#3 - Tony Awards
Neil Patrick Harris hosted the 65th Annual Tony Awards on CBS Sunday night. He put on quite the show. Here's a few of the awards: Best Actress in a Musical-Sutton Foster (Anything Goes); Best Actor in a Musical-Norbert Leo Butz (Catch Me If You Can); Best Musical-The Book of Mormon. #2 - Gabrielle Giffords
There are new photos of the Congresswoman. They were released this weekend on her Facebook page. They show the Congressman smiling. Giffords continues to recover from being shot in the head in January. The photos were taken on May 17 at a Houston hospital. She underwent a cranioplasty the next day. Giffords is expected to be released from the hospital sometime this month.
#1 - Anthony Weiner
Reports out Monday say the Congressman is now considering resigning. It comes amid that Twitter photo scandal. Weiner has taken a leave of absence from Congress to seek treatment as new pictures emerge of him flexing at the Congressional gym. Face the Nation host Bob Schieffer says, "This is beyond just a sex scandal. This is an electronic version of a flasher. These latest pictures are disgusting and despicable." The White House has called the scandal a distraction but has not called on Weiner to resign.
