Ming Ming was the world's oldest panda. She died from old age according to Chinese media. Wild pandas live 15 years on average and captive ones: 22 years. The are among the world's most endangered species. The female panda had lived in China since 1998, but had also traveled to zoos in London and Ireland during her life.

Inspired by Facebook, an Israeli couple named their baby "Like". Lior and Vardit Adler named their daughter after the "like" button on the social networking website. The couple said they wanted a name that was modern and innovative. When they posted the new baby's picture on Facebook, Like got 40 "likes".

France's first lady is reportedly expecting a baby. She and French President Nicolas Sarkozy are expecting their first child together. Sarkozy's father broke the news to a German newspaper. He said the parents-to-be don't want to know the gender beforehand. Bruni has a son from a previous marriage.

The Queen arrived in Ireland Tuesday for a 4-day visit. It's the first visit by a British monarch since Ireland became independent from Britain in 1922. The Queen met with Irish President Mary McAleese Tuesday who had lobbied for more than a decade to have the Queen visit.

A bombshell in the break-up between Schwarzenegger and Maria Shriver. The former Governor is acknowledging he fathered a child with someone who worked for their family. It happened a decade ago but he told Maria earlier this year after leaving the Governor's office. She told People magazine "This is a painful and heartbreaking time." Schwarzenegger said in a statement, "I understand and deserve the feelings of anger and disappointment among my friends and family. There are no excuses and I take full responsibility for the hurt I have caused."
