Steve Kroft's exclusive interview with President Obama aired Sunday night on CBS.  The President opened up about the operation that took down Osama bin Laden.  Here's another piece of the transcript.

STEVE KROFT:
Were you nervous?
PRESIDENT BARACK OBAMA:
Yes.
STEVE KROFT:
What could you see?
PRESIDENT BARACK OBAMA:
We were monitoring the situation. And we knew as events unfolded what was happening in and around the compound, but we could not get information clearly about what was happening inside the compound.
STEVE KROFT:
Right. And that went on for a long time? Could you hear gunfire?
PRESIDENT BARACK OBAMA:
We had a sense of when gunfire and explosions took place.
STEVE KROFT:
Flashes?
PRESIDENT BARACK OBAMA:
Yeah. And we also knew when one of the helicopters went down in a way that wasn't according to plan. And, as you might imagine, that made us more tense."

The president said he was relieved when he got word bin Laden was killed and wanted to make sure the Navy SEALS made it safely over the Pakistan border.
