The actress settling a $50 million libel suit against Star Magazine. The tabloid headline in January read: "Drug Shocker." The article was actually about how scientology is like a drug. The company that owns Star Magazine made a substantial donation to a charity in Katie's name to settle the case.
#2 - Armadillos
Researchers believe the animals can transmit leprosy to humans. They say about a 1/3 of the cases that happen in the U.S. every year result from contact with an infected armadillo. Most cases are in Louisiana and Texas where some people hunt, skin and even eat armadillos. Leprosy is an infectious disease known for skin sores and nerve damage.
#1 - Wills and Kate
Not a shocker here. Final preparations underway at Westminster Abbey. Kate Middleton, along with best man Prince Harry and the young bridesmaids came to the church for one last run-through Thursday morning. Crews are setting up hug video screens around London for people with a front row seat. Even with showers in the forecast more than a million people are expected along the parade route.
