(Rochester, NY)... Florida Panthers General Manager Dale Tallon announced today that the club has recalled forward Tim Kennedy from the Rochester Americans and assigned forward Kenndal McArdle to the American Hockey League team. In a related move, the Panthers also reassigned defenseman T.J. Fast to Rochester from the ECHL’s Cincinnati Cyclones.

Kennedy, 24, earns his first call-up to the Panthers since being acquired by Florida from the New York Rangers at the NHL trade deadline. The 5-foot-10, 176-pound forward can potentially make his Panthers debut tonight when Florida hosts the defending Stanley Cup champion Chicago Blackhawks. Faceoff is slated for 7:30 p.m. at the BankAtlantic Center.
